Even before the première, Andreas Möller, Managing Director of Möller Manlift, was impressed by the concept of the 18.40 RXJ from Ommelift. In addition to the working height of 18.4 metres, it has a reach of 10.5 metres with a full basket load of 200 kilograms. Then there is the pivot point at around six metres and the movable cage boom. "It was clear to us from the very first moment: we need a platform like this in our rental fleet," says Möller, confirming his purchase decision.
The crawler work platform has a reach of 10.5 metres with a full cage load of 200 kilograms.
"Thanks to its compact dimensions, it can also be used in confined spaces," says Yama Saha, pointing out further advantages of the machine. In addition to the transport height of 1.99 metres, the Managing Director of Ommelift Germany also mentions the clearance width of 79 centimetres. If the platform then needs to be driven upwards, the track can be widened to 1.18 metres for greater stability.
"There is also a genuine hybrid drive with battery and combustion engine, which are completely independent of each other," emphasises Saha. This means that it can be used indoors without having to unplug the power cable. The combustion engine - diesel or petrol - accelerates outdoor operations.
