Italian manufacturer Airo will be presenting the new A18JRTD Xtreme articulated boom lift at GIS 2019 - the Italian crane and platform event in Piacenza - which begins on Thursday.
With a working height of 18.45 metres, the A18JRTD Xtreme offers a maximum outreach of 9.9 metres with a lifting capacity of 300 kilograms and an articulation point at 8.5 metres. The maximum capacity is 400 kilograms and the gradeability is 40 per cent.
Other features include four-wheel drive, four-wheel steering, oscillating axle, 18.8 kW Stage V and Tier 4F engine without DPF, integrated diagnostic system with Advanced Touch Control System. Options include a cage boom that can be moved through 180 degrees and a 2.40 metre wide workman basket.
A hybrid version will also be launched in the coming months.
